San Gabriel's mayor resigns

San Gabriel mayor Albert Y.M. Huang said he would resign from the City Council following his arrest on suspicion of robbery, assault and battery, citing the pressure on his family. "I've chosen to resign from the San Gabriel City Council to focus on what are most important aspects of my life - my family," Huang said at a press conference. He was arrested after police said he got in a fight with a former girlfriend and drove away with her clinging to his car.
