ABC moves correspondent to L.A.

david-wright-abc.jpgDavid Wright has been tapped to move from ABC’s Washington bureau to Los Angeles, where he will join correspondents Mike Von Fremd and Abbie Boudreau, per an internal memo posted at TV Newser. It says Wright joined ABC News in 2000, has reported from the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Asia and North America, and has been to Iraq more than a dozen times. His stories from Baghdad and Fallujah shared a 2004 Emmy Award. Correspondents at ABC News report for “World News with Diane Sawyer,” “Nightline,” and “Good Morning America,” ABC News NOW, ABCNews.com, and ABC News Radio. Separately, Diana Alvear has moved from Chicago to Los Angeles as a correspondent for ABC NewsOne, a news service for network affiliates.
