Blogger's home burglary makes the 11 o'clock news

barbara-hansen-mess.jpgThat messy break-in we told you about last Friday — at the home of food blogger Barbara Hansen — is the subject of a story coming tonight at 11 p.m. on Channel 2. Hansen, you might remember, posted pictures and wrote about her sense of violation and how she didn't expect to have an appetite for eating or entertaining at home for awhile. Pretty similar feelings to everyone who's the victim of a home burglar — a class that includes hundreds of people in L.A. every year, so I'm not sure what the story is going to be about. (There were 17,000+ burglaries reported to the LAPD last year, not all of them residential of course.) Hansen wasn't home at the time. Hansen and the CBS 2 reporter, Suzanne Marques, have both tweeted tonight about the upcoming story. Marques: "Former LA Times food writer's Hancock Park home is ransacked, but she was left with a few precious memories."
