From Majestic Theatre to majestic Rockies

MDR Logo 3.jpgRobert Bucksbaum, the Majestic Crest Theatre savior who got out of the cinema biz last year, sent an email to his former patrons today saying he now owns a guest ranch in Colorado. You can guess what it's called. And you're all invited to come on down.

With the Majestic Crest officially under new management, I wanted let you all know that operating a single screen theatre in Los Angeles is probably the most challenging thing I’ve done in my life, but you guys really made it a terrific experience. Now, new adventures beckon and I recently purchased the Lake Mancos Guest Ranch in the amazing southwest Colorado Rockies after a decade long search for the best operation in the west....

I plan on making it an even better place with first class amenities and additional activities such as mountain bike guided tours, family rodeos, educational kids programs and a host of great family all-inclusive activities. And, yes, of course – we’ll have movie nights on our large outdoor screen with FREE (ouch that hurts!) popcorn.
