'Black Swan' takes a bunch of Spirit awards

portman-winner2.jpgKind of a ragged show on IFC tonight from the Film Independent Spirit Awards — lots of gaps and fumbles. The actors also seemed fairly miserable about the chilly temperature in the tent on Santa Monica Beach. Natalie Portman, seated at the "Black Swan" table at the very edge of the tent, kept her coat on until the moment she was announced as best female lead. 'Black Swan" also won for best feature, best director and best cinematography. Good line from host Joel McHale's opener, about the diverse appeal of independent "from Eagle Rock to Los Feliz to Silver Lake." Full list of winners.
