Rep. Jane Harman leaving Congress to run think tank *

Looks like there will be yet another opening and possible special election in the South Bay to Westside crescent. Harman is stepping down to become president of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and succeed former congressman Lee Hamilton. NBC, USA Today

* Update: Councilwoman Janice Hahn announced right away that she is running. Secretary of State Debra Bowen is considering it. LA Biz Observed
