L.A. Marathon goes off in the rain

Kind of a nice story at the Los Angeles Marathon today. Markos Geneti of Ethiopia, running his first marathon, won the race and set a course record 2 hours, 6 minutes and 35 seconds. It's the fastest marathon ever run in California and the second fastest in the world this year. Ethiopia's Buzunesh Deba won the women's race in 2 hours, 26 minutes and 34 seconds. This year's course began at Dodger Stadium and ended at Ocean Avenue and California in Santa Monica.
