Watch NOAA's animated tsunami graphic *

These are always a mix of awesome and frightening — the mighty Pacific begins to seem so small. Though a little less scary than the red and yellow palette used after the Chile quake last year. Interesting how the tsunami energy gets here and the north coast of Australia at about the same time.
