Dodgers won't include beer on half-price days

As part of the response to the Bryan Stow beating, the Dodgers had been thinking about whether to exclude alcohol from the half-price promotions offered at six day games this season. Now we know: the team announced it will not include beer in the deal. From the Dodgers release:

Half-price alcoholic beverages are no longer part of the Dodgers' Half Price Food & Drink Promotion, set to begin with the game against the Atlanta Braves on Thursday, April 21.

The team plays at Dodger Stadium on Thursday for the first time since the controversy erupted into a full-blown image crisis.
