The Lakers led the Mavericks going into the fourth quarter tonight in Dallas, but lost 98-92. It won't be remembered as Derek Fisher's best clutch performance. He committed a foul in the last minute and turned the ball over on a throw-in with the clock almost gone. No NBA team has come back from a three-game deficit in the playoffs, according to the TV broadcast. One more loss and the Lakers' season — and Phil Jackson's career, apparently — are over. Next game is in Texas.
