Footage of Bunker Hill destruction circa 1969

The plot of the April 9, 1969 episode of the television series "The Outsider," starring Darrin McGavin, hinges on "the destruction of the Bunker Hill neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles...we see the last remaining Victorian homes, The Castle and The Salt Box, shortly before they were removed to Heritage Square." We also see the future site of the Walt Disney Hall. Clip and synopsis are posted at Archive.org. Hat tip: Dennis Wilen.

The clip starts with a commercial for a 1970 Ford Maverick set at Vasquez Rocks that is so dated it's almost cool.
