Newsroom staffers at Channels 2 and 9 have been tweeting all night about their tears and sadness at the sudden passing of a colleague known on Twitter as @kanger33. At the end of the news at 11, anchor Pat Harvey's voice was thick with emotion as she announced the unexpected death of James Kang. About 9:30 Harvey posted on Twitter: "Our beloved colleague James Kang passed away just hours ago. He was one of the kindest people I've ever met. Rest in peace sweet prince." His passing was also mentioned on the 10 o'clock news on Channel 9, according to one of the staffers.

* Sunday night: Duopoly photographer Bryan Frank posts a blog tribute to his photo-taking friend. He says that Kang excused himself from his desk, said he wasn't feeling well, and was later found in his car in the parking structure.
