The Angels' home plate celebration last May 29 of Kendrys Morales' game-winning grand-slam home run must be the most costly walk-off party in the history of pro sports. (Timmermann?) Morales jumped into the mob of bouncing teammates, broke his ankle, and didn't play again last year. And now he won't play at all this season after a second surgery. At the time he went down, the Cuban expatriate was arguably the Angels' best power hitter.
