Tom Bradley documentary wins $50,000 grant

ss11-tom-bradley-august-1973.jpgThe research and development grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for "Bridging the Divide: Tom Bradley and the Politics of Race" is the only such grant in the state, Rep. Karen Bass said. The documentary being produced by Lyn Goldfarb and Alison Sotomayor is on the life of the mayor of Los Angeles from 1973 to 1993.
