Weiner to resign today *

Rep. Anthony Weiner reportedly told House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi last night at the White House that he would step down today, the L.A. Times says. He also has been telling friends the same thing, per the New York Times. He has scheduled an 11 a.m. news conference.
