Lens on Lakewood

lakewood-johnson-liberty.jpgPhotographer Tom M. Johnson grew up in the suburb of Lakewood and lives again in the home his parents bought there in the 1950s. For the past decade the former model has been documenting the city's neighborhoods in a a project he calls, “Lakewood: Portraits of a Sacred American Suburb.” It's featured today on the New York Times photo blog.
