  • Villaraigosa spokeswoman Sarah Hamilton is heading home to Chicago to work on the staff of Mayor Rahm Emanuel. She clears out her desk on Friday, Rick Orlov says. (*Update: She will be communications director for the Chicago Police Department.)
  • Mayor Villaraigosa has cut a four-minute video to show in Washington this week on how the 405 widening project ties into Measure R and his transit plans.

  • Janice Hahn will be in Washington this week too: she's being sworn in as a member of Congress on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Pacific.

  • Jordan Markwith, who was an aide to Mayor James Hahn, has reportedly been named western regional finance director for the 2012 Democratic convention.
