Ex-King Sean Avery arrested by LAPD

Avery, who plays the role of agitator in hockey and has been run off a couple of teams (including the L.A. Kings) by his own teammates, was arrested this morning on suspicion of battery against a police officer. He has since been released, TMZ reports. The LAPD went to his house in the Hollywood Hills after complaints about a loud party, and Avery reportedly challenged the officers to fight. What's the big deal: he does that on the ice all the time. Avery is now with the New York Rangers.
