Durkee confronted on camera by Fox 11

Kinde Durkee, the campaign treasurer suspected of absconding with the funds of many California Democrats, has been avoiding the cameras since her release on bail. But Fox 11's Gina Silva and her producer caught up to Durkee today in Long Beach.

Earlier: Strange amateurish edge to the questioning on Fox 11's new 5 p.m. show, "Studio 11 L.A.," with reporter Liz Habib trying to corner county Democratic chair Eric Bauman with some perceived party culpability for the Durkee money being missing. Bauman seems disbelieving at the turn the discussion took, as do the commenters at SoCal Media Watch. It's seldom pretty when conventional TV news people are told to suddenly be more edgy or opinionated in a hunt for audience.
