'73 Porsche stolen 23 years ago seized at Port of L.A.

The cherry-red Porsche 930 Turbo reported stolen in Las Vegas in 1988 was flagged by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers before it could be put on a ship for the Netherlands. L.A. Now has more.

Here's the great stat: "Every day, between 500 and 1,000 cars are exported abroad from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach."
