Probation chief to be allowed to resign

The Board of Supervisors has the votes to dump Don Blevins as head of the county's troubled Probation Department, but Celeste Fremon says it appears he will get the chance to resign. The board interviewed a replacement today, she reports. Fremon fills in the background at Witness L.A.
