About 20 protesters arrested in Downtown *

occupy-la-arrests-111711.jpgSounds like the choreographed sort of street protest crackdown, with marchers and police each playing their part. The LAPD issued its dispersal order and those wanting to be arrested refused to leave Figueroa Street and 4th, a little after 9 a.m. Others spectated while the TV cameras rolled. Final count pending but it looks to be 21 arrests for unlawful assembly and two for refusal to obey a law enforcement officer.
