  • Assemblyman and former State Senator Gil Cedillio announced he will run for the City Council's first district, trying to become another Sacramento pol to make the move to City Hall.
  • Speaker John A. Pérez promoted staffer Greg Campbell to Chief of Staff, succeeding Sara Ramirez Giroux.
