in the city of Los Angeles, residential trash pickup that usually occurs on Thursday will happen on Friday, due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Regular Friday pickups will occur on Saturday this week. For the record, the only holidays when there is no trash pickup in L.A. are the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
