Read the memo: Don't feed the squirrels

daily-news-box-200.jpgStaffers at the Daily News' rented offices in Woodland Hills have been asked by the landlord not to feed the squirrels. Oh yeah, and no smoking either. "Sue" is Sue Weragoda of the paper's HR desk, who sent the the landlord's note to the newsroom and other staffers.

Good Afternoon Sue,

I received a few complaints about some of your employees feeding the squirrels outside the lobby of 21860 south and because they feed them cause them to approach other people who don’t have food and these people get scared by the squirrels thinking they’re going to attack them. They need to stop doing this or someone will get bit by one of them.

Also I’ve had report just today two women from your suite smoke right at the lobby doors and blow smoke in people’s faces who exit and enter the building not very professional since this your main lobby entry for visitors.

I’ve attach memo that was sent out about smokers about one year ago, so you can remind your employees.
