It can't be a bad sign for your chances when the incoming president of the City Council publicly endorses your campaign to be elected to said council. Joe Buscaino, the LAPD officer who finished first in the opening round of voting in the 15th district, is up against Assemblyman Warren Furutani in the Jan. 17 runoff. "I know Joe is the right man for this job,” Wesson says in the press release.
