In the end, Clippers land Chris Paul

chris-paul-clippers-grab.jpgThe point guard the Lakers coveted — only to have the deal quashed by NBA Commissioner David Stern — is coming to Los Angeles after all. He'll just wear Clippers blue instead of Lakers yellow. The Clippers said they have agreed to send New Orleans guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and a 2012 first-round draft pick (formerly Minnesota's), and will receive back two future second-round picks along with Paul. It gives the Clippers another elite building block to go with Blake Griffin. Kaman has been on the Clippers for eight seasons, longer than anyone else.
