John Atterberry, music executive shot at Sunset and Vine was 40

The music industry veteran who was shot in his Mercedes by Tyler Brehm in Friday's rampage in Hollywood died of his injuries this afternoon, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center announced. Atterberry had done A&R for Tabu Records and been a vice president of Death Row Records, and helped create the music publishing company Infusion Music Group, where he worked on albums for Christina Aguilera, Michael Jackson and the Spice Girls among others.
