Jeffrey Kaye, journalist was 57

Jeffrey Kaye worked at the San Jose Mercury News, Los Angeles Herald Examiner and The Hollywood Reporter, and wrote for TV Guide and the Los Angeles Times. He lived in Paris for 20 years before recently taking a job as senior editor at Current.org, an editorial service of the American University School of Communication. He died Feb. 11 of a heart attack in Bethesda, Md., according to Current. Kaye is survived by his wife Alexandra Frean, Washington Bureau chief of the Times of London, and three children.
