Old Clifton's facade to be revealed *

cliftons-brookdale-facade.jpgAt a ceremony on Wednesday morning, the original Broadway facade of the Clifton's Brookdale Cafeteria will be uncovered. The wall has not been seen since the 1950s, organizers say. After the grates are removed the facade will be restored as part of the Clifton's remodeling underway by the owners of downtown's The Edison. The Los Angeles Conservancy and Councilman Jose Huizar will take part in the 11 a.m. media op.

Added: The Edison's Andrew Meieran talks about his plans for Clifton's.
