LAPD officer accused of hotel theft

Jeffry Paul Quinton, a 21-year veteran assigned to the Central division, was arrested in Orange County and accused of stealing cash from a Laguna Beach hotel where he moonlighted. Quinton faces two felony charges, of grand theft and commercial burglary, and has been placed on administrative leave by the LAPD. LAT, Register
