Kings playoff dates announced

richard+carter+lakings.jpgThe LA Kings didn't exactly finish their season on a roll. With two wins they could have won their division and opened the Stanley Cup playoffs at home for the first time in more than a decade. Instead they lost both games to the older, pluckier San Jose Sharks. As a result, the Kings draw the worst playoffs matchup they could have imagined.

They open the first series in Vancouver against the best team in the west — a rematch of the playoff series the Kings lost in 2010.

Full schedule of games below.

Wed. 4/11 Kings at Canucks 7:30 PST
Fri. 4/13 Kings at Canucks 7:00 PST
Sun. 4/15 Canucks at Kings 7:30 PST
Wed. 4/18 Canucks at Kings 7:00 PST
Sun. 4/22 (**if necessary) Kings at Canucks
Tue. 4/24 (**if necessary) Canucks at Kings
Thu. 4/26 (**if necessary) Kings at Canucks
