Within the last 20 months, five state legislators and one former state senator have been arrested on suspicion of crimes including drunk driving, perjury, voter fraud, shoplifting and trying to carry a loaded gun through airport security. "Not since the FBI sting known as Shrimpscam, which targeted influence peddling in the Capitol in the 1990s, have so many state lawmakers posed for booking photos in such a short span of time," says Patrick McGreevy. Sean Windle left the paper to be an industry research analyst at IBIS World in Santa Monica. Rebecca Beyer will become the San Francisco editor and Emily Green is moving from the Sacramento bureau to San Francisco to cover the California Supreme Court.

Rush Limbaugh remains at the top of Talkers magazine's "Heavy Hundred" rankings of radio talk hosts. Patt Morrison of KPCC moved up 19 spots to #47 this year. Talkers
