I haven't posted much about this Orange County case, in which a homeless and mentally ill man was beaten so severely at police hands that he died, but the video of what happened to Kelly Thomas was released today. Thomas's pleas for his dad to help him are what may get to you. The video was played in a court at the preliminary hearing for two of the
Fullerton officers.
"Revolting," warns OC Weekly editor Gustavo Arellano. "Not for the faint of heart, but something that every Orange County resident should see, to remind themselves of what happens when a police force is out of control."
