Follow the Stanley Cup all summer

One of the other charming little hockey things that happens is the winners of the Stanley Cup get to take the trophy pretty much wherever they want for a day. For many that means taking the Cup home to small-town Canada (or Slovenia) for what can sometimes turn into very emotional celebrations with the folks you grew up with. The Cup is apparently still making appearances around LA before hitting the road. Here, the Kings' Willie Mitchell takes it to Venice Beach.

You can follow the Stanley Cup's movements all summer on Twitter at @keeperofthecup and at the Hockey Hall of Fame website.
