Spencer Beck editing an LA magazine again

laconfidential-cover-summer2012.jpgSpencer Beck, the editor of Los Angeles magazine from 1997-2000, has been named editor-in-chief of Los Angeles Confidential. That's the glossy luxury mag from Niche Media. Until last year he was editorial director of magazine publisher Modern Luxury Media. From the flackage:

Beck, who began his career with Andy Warhol at Interview, is highly esteemed among media professionals with over 15 years of experience working in leading positions at various premiere luxury and celebrity-driven lifestyle magazines including Modern Luxury Media, W and Los Angeles magazine, where he was Editor-in-Chief. Beck also authored Uncommon Grace, a biography of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and a series of eight “Hollywood” books including Hollywood Lovers, Hollywood Weddings, Hollywood Drag, and Hollywood Kids. Beck graduated from Yale University with a BA in History. He has been living in Los Angeles for 15 years.
