The company is in talks to build out a Walmart Neighborhood Market on North Lincoln Avenue for opening early in 2013. Walmart put out a warm and fuzzy statement from a member of the Altadena Town Council, but Dan Abendschein at Altadena Patch noted that "in an unofficial online poll about Walmart on this site, 59 percent of the 275 who voted said they would not consider shopping at the store."
