Blake Griffin out of Olympics with knee injury

The Clippers' Blake Griffin has a torn medial meniscus in his left knee and will have arthroscopic surgery, probably early next week, the Clippers announced. He won't be able to play for the U.S. Olympics team in London but should be available for Clippers training camp. Dr. Neal ElAttrache of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic is expected to perform the surgery.
