 Edgar Rice Burroughs' home in Tarzana is gone, but the offices where his family business  — and everything Tarzan — is administered remains behind a low wall on Ventura Boulevard. Burroughs' ashes reportedly were buried under the walnut tree in the yard after he died in 1950.
