405

New info video for Carmageddon II

dinner-on-405.jpgMetro explains what will happen to the 405 freeway over the weekend of Sept. 29-30, and how it's basically the same exercise as in July a year ago. The freeway will close completely in both directions for the entire weekend. If Metro has planned it right, the Sepulveda Pass will be open to Monday morning commuters.

Partial closures, of course, have shut down the freeway in one direction or another over night at various times during the overall I-405 widening project. (Inlcuding this past weekend, and next.) But this is the big one.
