Whatever happened to... Sasha Vujacic

sasha-vujacic-haircut-fb.jpgEx-Laker Sasha Vujacic says on Facebook that after spending the summer in Los Angeles, he's at training camp for his Turkish professional basketball team. He played in Turkey last season too. Vujacic today posted this new picture of himself and asking for feedback: "Got a haircut," he writes. Think it's time to retire the good old headband...what do you think??" The headband was his signature on-court accessory while on the Lakers.

Vujacic was in the celebrity news, briefly, during the past U.S, Open tennis tournament. At one of her press conferences, Maria Sharapova casually confirmed that she and Vujacic had broken off their engagement. It wasn't news to the couple, only to the media and the players' fans: she reported the break had occurred some months before, at the end of spring, but that no reporter had asked her about it until now.
