Spotted on Councilman Eric Garcetti's TwitPic page, from last month. But worth a reprise.

If you are not a hockey fan, or only casually pay attention, you might think: hey wait, it's November — where are the Kings? The answer is that the National Hockey League is in a labor dispute. No games have yet been played this season, and it's possible that no hockey will be played this year.
