Gunman fires 50 shots tonight outside Fashion Island

Another sad lonely guy with a gun terrorized a crowd tonight, this time in the parking lot of the Fashion Island shopping mall in Newport Beach. No one was hit — this sad lonely guy didn't want to hurt people, but apparently just to be noticed or to be arrested. He fired all shots into the air or the ground near the Macy's. Marcos Gurrola, 42, of Garden Grove, was arrested and remains in custody.

People inside the mall rushed for cover and apparently some of them incurred minor injuries.
