Hertzberg endorses Feuer, leaving Trutanich

Four years ago, former Assembly Speaker and mayoral candidate Robert Hertzberg co-led the transition team for newly elected city attorney Carmen Trutanich. On Monday, Hertzberg made it official that he's backing challenger Mike Feuer over Trutanich in the March 5 city election. "Simply put, Mike Feuer is the most qualified candidate for City Attorney ever and boy do we need him now,” Hertzberg says in the campaign release.

Hertzberg had previously endorsed Wendy Greuel in the mayoral race.
