Villaraigosa spokesman moves on to next gig

mav-teddy-davis-crop.jpgTeddy Davis, a top press spokesman for Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa since 2011, was announced today as the new director of strategic communications for Maryland governor Martin O'Malley. Davis was formerly the deputy director of political coverage at ABC News, and held a number of political jobs in California. He begins in Maryland in February, says the Washington Post. Today was his last day in City Hall.

There should be a series of these leaving-the-ship announcements in the coming months as the Villaraigosa administration winds down.

Slightly edited post
