Colby Evett owned and operated Evett's Model Shop on Ocean Park Boulevard in Santa Monica. The store, which celebrated its 65th anniversary in January, is popular with hobbyists and Evett was well known in the world of model planes. Evett died February 16. Santa Monica Patch, Legacy.com
