Councilman-elect Bonin names his chiefs of staff

molnar-mclennan.jpgChad Molnar will be the chief of staff to incoming Westside city council member Mike Bonin. Laura McLennan will be deputy chief of staff, Bonin announced. “I need a smart, experienced, top-flight leadership team to help me move Los Angeles forward, do good, and get things done.” said Bonin, who was himself the chief of staff to outgoing Councilman Bill Rosendahl. “With Chad and Laura, I have a savvy A-Team who know how to make things happen.”

Molnar worked with Bonin on the staff of them-Rep. Jane Harman, and on Rosendahl's staff. Molnar was Bonin's campaign manager this year. McLennan has been Rosendahl's deputy chief of staff and senior policy adviser. She previously worked for Alex Padilla at the City Council and as the field deputy in West Los Angeles for Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
