Tujunga Village taco wars heat up: Henry's gets a rival

Just days after Henry's Tacos opened in its new location on Tujunga Avenue in Studio City, the popular spot's old location on Tujunga and Moorpark has been leased: to a competing taco joint. The sign says that Cactus Taqueria will be opening soon.

In January, you may recall, the owner of Henry's was forced to move — despite much support from loyal fans and celebrities — after failing to reach a new lease deal with the landlord. Henry's was passed down to a longtime staffer and reopened just recently a few doors down on Tujunga. Perhaps the old landlord wasn't too happy about that. In any case, that stretch of Studio City will now have its choice of which tacos to buy.
