Ride along in an LAPD chopper (audio)

KCRW producer Matt Holzman embedded with cops in the LAPD Air Support unit to see what it's like in the helicopters that patrol Los Angeles skies. The choppers' helipad base is the “nest of the avian species known colorfully as the ghetto bird,” he says in his radio story.
