Hertzberg moves to lock up Valley race

Thumbnail image for BobHertzberg.jpgState senate hopeful Robert Hertzberg announced the co-chairs for his 2014 race to get back into elective office. Former assemblyman Dario Frommer and attorney David Fleming, a big player in the San Fernando Valley secession crusade a decade ago, are the co-chairs. Endorsements announced today include Rep. Tony Cardenas, Assemblyman Raul Bocanegra, City Councilman-elect Felipe Fuentes, Sherman Oaks Home Owners Association president Richard Close and Studio City Neighborhood Council president John Walker. There's some overlap with the Wendy Greuel for mayor campaign, which Hertzberg was part of, and that includes the consultant apparently. The news came from the office of political strategist John Shallman.
